Laura & Mary | Wedding Photography | Auckland

We love the way that each wedding is a personal reflection of each couple. And Laura and Mary's wedding was a beautiful reflection and celebration of the love they share.

With Laura's Scottish ancestry, they both entered their wedding ceremony to the playing of live Bagpipes.  As part of the ceremony, Laura and Mary also shared a drink of  whiskey from a Quaich (a two handled drinking cup).  Unique to Scotland, it was told how sharing in this drink represented the love, trust and friendship between two people.  How beautiful!

Laura also wore her family tartan, and with what the other was wearing still a surprise, Laura and Mary had their First Look on the deck of Takapuna Boat Club.  A perfect setting to see each other for the first time before their wedding ceremony!

With Rangitoto Island in the background, these two gorgeous Brides had a fun and relaxed location shoot on the beautiful Takapuna Beach on Auckland's North Shore.   And as the sun lowered, glasses were raised and and together with friends and family, toasts were made to celebrate the love they share.
