We can honestly say that we get to photograph the most fabulous people. We have so much fun spending time with people and capturing their special moments. Anna and Simon's wedding is a perfect example.
Even in their early twenties, they have already been involved in, initiated and accomplished many successful development and community programs in the developing world. A beautiful couple inside and out, we were thrilled to be capturing their wedding day!
Anna looked stunning wearing a timeless white dress with detailing on the bodice and beautiful vintage inspired accessories with pearls and diamantes. Her make-up was done beautifully and she wore her fabulous long dark hair in a side plait with soft curls flowing down. Anna was beaming!
Both Simon and Anna had a relaxed morning each getting ready in their family homes before meeting for their first look. We just love love love when couples do a first look! It is such a special moment, they see each for the first time, and in that moment it is just the Bride and Groom, together. Anna and Simon chose a gorgeous spot in the woods, secluded with tall trees and the river near by, this was a perfect setting.
Anna and Simon had an outside ceremony in the picturesque garden at Fantails in Levin. Under the shade of the trees they shared their vows in a personal and genuine ceremony. Having already done the location photographs after the first look, Anna and Simon just enjoyed the rest of the day with the guests at their garden afternoon tea. Tasty pastries, appetisers and sweet treats were a perfect way to celebrate with friends and family and start their journey as man and wife.
